Old Newspaper Assignment
Painting with light
The Tribal Tribune editor got invited the photographers to come to waterfront bringing their cameras, tripods, and alternative sources of light. Basically, glow sticks + low shutter speed = good times. Its cool getting to use the shutter speed to such an extreme and the results turned out pretty cool.

Christmas
Christmas was pretty awesome this year. I got a few games and movies, a whistle, a few other small things and most importantly, a camera!

Its a new rebel xs, and I still cant believe I have it. Today has been pretty crazy so havent really got to play with it much. The next two posts will be with Jacks old camera but after that goodbye Olympus, you wont be missed.
For some reason Wally gave Walker a bb gun, and I did get a shot of that.

Starting to learn the Exposure Triangle
Outside of Seacoast after a failed attempt to take a picture for an assignment due to a lack of a tripod or decent lighting, I noticed this plant by my car. It was a pretty ugly plant, and in hindsight I should have took a picture of the whole thing. That being said there were these pink flowers on the dying plant. Turning down the ISO and the aperture I got a pretty decent picture.
I think its interesting to note that from the right angle something that appears ugly can turn out to be beautiful.
